Have students observe a lava lamp to understand convection (thermal energy, heat) and density
better! In this worksheet students will explain and draw the motion in terms of convection. Because it's pretty quick, we suggest using as a station in a stations day about convection. (Don't have a lava lamp? They're 10 bucks on Amazon!)
