Two versions of the same quiz:
First Quiz: The first two questions ask the students to write the Laws. Warn students to have that memorized before they come to class.
Problem 3 gives 3 sides of a non-right triangle, so the students must use Law of Cosines to find the three angles.
Problem 4 gives two angles and an included side, so the students must use Law of Sines to solve for the missing pieces.
Problem 5 has two attached triangles, one right and one obtuse. The students must first use Law of Sines and then use right triangle trig to find the missing side. This is a good quiz that will have your struggling students needing extra time to finish and your top students will feel challenged but should have no problem.
Second Quiz: Same quiz without the last question. This can be used for students with accommodations or if you have that one struggling class that needs to quiz without any complications.
