Here is my cut-and-glue worksheet for the laws of exponents! My students absolutely LOVE when I make these for them! This worksheet includes 12 problems in which students may use the laws of exponents to solve.
This worksheet covers:
-Bases need to be the same before exponents can be added, subtracted, or multiplied.
-When like bases are being divided, exponents are subtracted.
-When a number is raised to zero, it is equal to one.
-Negative exponents can be expressed as a positive if left in the denominator.
-When like bases are being multiplied, exponents are added.
-When an exponent is raised to an exponent, exponents are multiplied.
With this worksheet, you can make the laws of exponents fun! Students may solve the problems in the work box, and then cut and glue the answer in the correct box. Students will know if they made a mistake right away if they notice their answer is not on the answer sheet! Students of all ages love to glue!
An answer key IS included!
