The Laws of Exponents Quilt was created by Pupsaroni Puzzles for an Algebra 1 classroom during the Exponent Rules unit. This puzzle allows students to practice using exponent rules to simplify expressions. Students can use the cards individually or in cooperative learning groups to practice. Included in this digital file are cards to print for students and an answer key picture that shows what the final puzzle put together should look like. If the cards are printed one page per sheet of paper, they are larger cards that are great for cooperative learning groups or math center cards. If the cards are printed two sheets per page, the cards are better for individual practice. This size is good for a cut and paste activity in an interactive notebook, or, if stored in a baggie or an envelope, then the cards in an interactive notebook become re-usable for students for continuous practice or review practice.
