Layers of the Atmosphere: Class Project
This is my favorite way to make students think about what occurs or is found in each layer of the atmosphere. Information is provided for each layer, as well as directions for the teacher. Students work in groups to create their layer of the atmosphere. All that is needed is this product, paper, and markers, crayons, chalk, or colored pencils. Student imaginations are also helpful. Giving directions, work time, and presentation time take about 2 class periods (40 minutes each) to complete. This is appropriate for 6th-8th graders. Enjoy!
**Now Included: A foldable with all information for students to draw and color the layers presented by their classmates! Excellent way for them to learn more about the other layers and a handy study tool! **
