Could easily be used as a Station. This activity features a data table that gives the average depth for each of the 4 layers of the Earth (Crust, Mantle, Outer Core, and Inner Core).
Students must first calculate the total depth by adding up the information in the table provided.
Then they must use the 4 smaller tables proved to set up a part/whole = %/100 comparison to help them find the percent depth for each layer.
