Struggling to find new things for your French 3 and 4 students to compare in order to get the practice they need when comparing using ADJECTIVES, ADVERBS, NOUNS, and VERBS?? Mix things up with a fun and engaging practice activity using 5 short films.
PLEASE NOTE: You can preview the courts métrages here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuVGA2-POfG5CLrntkiGa2PgwEiuPWVds
I did not create these films, just the activities to go along with them. Please be sure to show the credits to give the true artists credit :)
This activity, which can be printed back to back, gives students models of the four different types of comparative and superlative sentences and then walks them through comparing elements of the films to one another. On the superlative side of the handout, students are asked to give awards to the best film for each criteria.
I usually have students discuss and debate their selections with their classmates to work in a speaking component as well. Amusez-vous!
