This packet contains reading comprehension questions for the book Le Petit Nicolas. There are questions available on the internet for free, but the answers are already posted, so students can get by without doing the reading.
Each chapter has an accompanying vocabulary list, 5-7 questions, and a short essay. Also included is the due dates page for my current semester. I use this fall of my French 3 class, and read a sequel in the Spring. I recommend that students complete 1 chapter a week at first to get their reading skills on level, and then we transition to 2 chapters per week. (In the Spring we read the sequel Les Vacances du Petit Nicolas, and a workbook with the same format is available for it in my account.)
Since I wrote my own questions, my students reading and writing skills have grown tremendously, and it has increased my student's scores on the French AP exam.
