A PPT to teach free time activities, or saying what you did last weekend in French.
Slides have the phrase in French in the past perfect, along with a supporting image. The next set of slides have the speech bubble covered up so that pupils give the French phrase.
Pictures come from Expo textbook, so this PPT complements that perfectly.
Contains in class activities;
-1 A frame for giving further answers in the past tense, and showing how one verb can be used for a variety of activities. Pupils can then use prior learning to extend these.
-2 A series of sentence beginnings in a mix of present and past perfect, pupils are provided with a table and need to move the phrases into the correct column. Phrases move into correct column when the slide is clicked, starting from top left, then top right, then moving down.
-3 Pupils are given a text with the past participles missing. Pupils need to write it out, or the slide can be printed so used as a gap fill exercise, and fill in the correct participle. Clicking the slide will reveal the answers.
