Product Description
This is a fun activity for students to compare the 'official' age of a child born on Feb. 29, having a birthday every 4 years to a child born on March 1st, having a birthday every year. Students will complete a t-chart comparing the ages of both people and then answer comprehension questions about the type of growing pattern created, identify what year it will be when the 'Leap Year Baby' turns 5, decide whether he/she should wait to attend Kg, etc. Next, is a writing prompt for students to complete planning the perfect day with an extra 24 hours this year.
