Leap Year Word Search
: Fun word search activity with Leap Year themed words. Get ready to discuss why we have Leap Year every 4 years. BUT, did you know that it's not 'every' 4 years. If your students are like mine, they love these. I use them to introduce vocabulary, or even just give it as morning work. Use it however you would like in your classroom.
In this Leap Year word search puzzle, words are found forward, backward, up, down, and diagonally. I would consider it on the challenging side since students are looking for words in all directions. Keep this in mind when considering it for third grade and below.

It would make a great quiet morning work activity for students on February 29.
