Description: This set of counting cards has it all. The set includes the numbers 1 through 10 on ten two-sided cards (you can also print as 20 one-sided cards!). One side has the number word (e.g., “one”), the digit (e.g., “1”), a number line with the target number in red, and a picture of the finger formation (e.g., one finger up). The reverse side has the corresponding number of red circles. Print several sets as a visual guide for small group or circle time, and instruct students to hold up the correct number card during a counting song. Use in the math center with manipulatives placed on each card to guide learning. The redundant information on each card will facilitate your students’ understanding.
Targeted Group: These counting cards are ideal for toddlers through young school-aged children. Use at home, in preschool, pre-K, or special education classrooms for children with developmental delays or disabilities, such as autism.
Use: Use these counting cards in your circle time while singing counting songs (e.g., “Five Green and Speckled Frogs” or “Five Little Monkeys”, both available in my Sing-Along Song Card set). Place a few sets of counting cards in your math center so students can practice counting independently with manipulatives.
