Description

Expand your students’ letter recognition, sound association and letter formation skills with this versatile set of worksheets and activity card resource. Great for students with Autism, this 104 activity cards and 26 worksheets in ABCs and Letter Sounds can provide your students struggling with letter recognition, letter naming and beginning sounds for alphabet letters; both upper and lowercase. The worksheets included begin with practice reading, tracing, writing independently and end with matching initial sound pictures in a cut/paste activity. No matter what style of learning your students are, there is an activity to meet their needs.

LETTER SOUND ACTIVITY CARDS

★ Each letter/sound activity card has a 4 inch letter at the center thats provides many options for

tracing letters. YOU CHOOSE what they use to trace.

★Each 5 3/4 X 8 1/2 inch card also has 6 beginning sound pictures (with the exception of X which has

/x/ in the beginning and ending sounds).

★ Students practice selecting which 4 of each 6 pictures begin with the letter on the card. YOU

CHOOSE how they select them. They could draw lines to them, cut them out and glue them on the

letter or circle them with crayon, marker or pencil.

★ Each page contains 1 capital letter and one lowercase letter each with 6 different pictures to

depicting beginning sounds.

★ A KEY is provided for the picture names on each card.

LETTER WORKSHEETS

Each worksheet page contains 4 activities that involve all modalities of learning from seeing, tactile, tracing, hearing, and writing.

➀ . TRACE IT

Trace the letter. This begins with one letter that provide directional arrows for proper letter formation, proceeds from smaller outline letter then to dotted line letter on primary writing lines.

SEE IT SHADE IT

Students locate the capital and lowercase letters and shade in the ovals.

WRITE IT

Student write the letters on primary writing lines.

CUT AND PASTE

6 pictures at the bottom of the sheet are cut off and cut apart and glued into the squares above if they match the beginning sound of the letter they are learning.
