Assemble a simple turkey in time for Thanksgiving.

Objective: Learn to cut out triangles.

Preparation: Print out the pages on light brown, dark brown and card-stock. Cut out head, body, and tail. To reduce paper: 9 heads on one page, 3 bodies on one page, 2 tails on one page.

Project:

1) Children cut out various colored triangles for feet (orange), feathers (any color), and beak (yellow).

2) Color feathers, draw in eyes, lines on feet.

3) They then glue pieces together to assemble a turkey- Feathers are first glued onto tail, then body is glued onto tail, then head is glued. Last glue on beak and feet.
