Learner Profile Attributes – Product Description

The IB made some changes regarding the names of some attributes:
"Courageous" is now offered as an alternative to "Risk-taker"
"Global Thinker" is now offered as an alternative to "Thinker"
These are NOT additional

Who do you want your students to become?
What qualities do they need to have to thrive in the 21st century? The mission of the IB is summed up in the Learner Profile. If you teach at an IB school,
this resource is for you!
This product includes posters and decorative bunting to help you create an attractive classroom display featuring the IB Learner Profile.
I wrote my own definitions of each attribute based on the IB's definitions. You can read those in detail by clicking here: IB Learner Profile in Review
In the spirit of a community of learners, they are written in "we" language instead of "I". Here is the complete list of definitions:
Balanced: We understand that our brains, bodies and hearts are all important to our well-being.
Caring: We show compassion and respect for others through acts of kindness and service.
Communicators: We share our ideas clearly and confidently, and listen thoughtfully to others.
Inquirers: We are curious and enthusiastic learners who enjoy research and inquiry.
Knowledgeable: We explore and make connections between important concepts
Open-minded: We respect all cultures, and grow from opportunities to consider different points of view.
Principled: We are honest, fair and respectful to others, and take responsibility for our actions.
Reflective: We think about our strengths and weaknesses in order to keep learning and growing.
*Risk-takers: We thoughtfully consider new experiences with bravery and determination, meeting challenges with resiliency.
*Courageous: We thoughtfully consider new experiences with bravery and determination, meeting challenges with resiliency.
*Thinkers: We use different thinking strategies to learn and take action when solving problems effectively and fairly.
*Global Thinkers: We use different thinking strategies to learn and take action when solving problems effectively and fairly.
