This is an an activity that I will be using with my Elective classes this year. It asks the students to think about their learning styles using Multiple Intelligences. I get the students to do a personal and a class version so that I can see what type of learners I have in the class. I then use the information to tailor my teaching to their learning styles to maximize our time!
This activity also takes the students through the ELLI evaluation. ELLI stands for the Effective Lifelong Learning Initiative. This evaluation tool came out of the United Kingdom and it allows students to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses in a different way. Google ELLI for more information - there's heaps out there!
