CMA Kinder Days: BUNDLE Learning About Numbers 1-10 and 11-20
In this 11-20 set, there are two versions of the same workbook, one for first grade with addition and tallies and one for kindergarten. The two can also be interchanged for differentiation within the classroom.
For each number:
- Count at the top (I have my kids circle pairs of two to find even or odd)
- Practice writing on your own
- Make on a ten frame
- Determine 10 + ?
- Show in tallies
- Write the numbers that come before and after
- Count and color the quantity
Math Common Core State Standards:
Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
