This collection includes three pages. Page one: Color the squares red uses only squares so that students recognize the shape. Includes several different size squares to trace. Also, a connect the squares (as opposed to dots) to draw a square. Page two: What can you make with a square? Shows a picture of a house using different size sqaures. The square are made with broken line so students will trace to complete the focus shape and the picture. Using this as a coloring page is an added bonus! Page three: Is an assessment. There are twenty shapes on the page. Students color only the squares.
This meets Common Core standard: Correctly name and identify shapes regardless of their overall size and orientation. The Common Core objective is included on each page.
