Product Description
Learning Center- Magnetic Fishing Game MultiPurpose

★ 96 colorful fish (24 different styles of fish.)

★ Text box on each fish ready for you to type on the computer or print by hand: letters, sounds, words, math facts, etc.

★ Print out just the ones you need.

★ 4 recording sheets, too.

NOTE: You can just print out everything except the backings and use as is, but I have included reverse images of all of the fish so that you can print out back to back OR glue the front and back together. That way students won't be able to see the text on the fish because you can place them text side down. You can cut them up as square cards or cut out the fish on their borders. If you print out as is and laminate the fish, you can even write in erasable marker and reuse.

The text boxes are easily adjusted by using the handles to shrink or expand. You can also change the style of font or the font size by reformatting the text box.

Designed to be printed out back to back as follows:

Print out pages 1 & 2 (directions).

Next print out page 3 (text box fish).

Now, place page 3 in the printer tray face up and facing you.

Print out page 4 (fish backings), and the other side of the fish will print perfectly.

Next, print page 5 (text fish).

Then, place page 5 in the printer tray face up, facing you.

Print page 6 (fish backings) and the other side of those fish will print perfectly, etc.

Continue in this fashion until you have printed all the fish you need. Finally you can either cut them out or simply slice them on the paper cutter to make small square cards.

Place a paper clip on the mouth of each fish. Secure a magnet onto a piece of string or yarn, and attach to a straw or ruler.

For a more realistic touch, the last page has 4 fishing rods (fronts and backs) that you can glue or tape onto the ruler or straw... just cut and fold down the middle the long way. Students hover the "fishing rod" over the shiny water (a cardboard copy paper lid covered with aluminum foil works fine.) and catch a fish as it adheres to the magnet. If the student can read the word (and perhaps use it in a sentence), s/he keeps that fish.

To make things a bit more realistic, I have provided 8 different sea plant and sea grass borders to glue onto the sides of the lid, inside and out.

This activity can grow with your students at various levels of sight words.
