I searched and searched, unsuccessfully, for a clock to help my 1st graders tell time. They have such a hard time understanding that the hour is still 2 when the hour hand is so close to the 3! So, I created this to replace the clockface in my existing 9"x9" classroom clock. When they can see the hour hand still in the color block with the 2 it will be easier for them to understand how to tell time on an analog clock (HOPEFULLY!!)
5 clock face color options are included:
Rainbow (with pink instead of red)
and Whitewashed Shiplap
Printable PDF's are included with instructions on how to replace your existing 9x9 clock face. PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS FIRST.
OR you can print a clock just to display in your classroom. Laminate and add an hour and minute hand with brads to use as a demo clock. Print as a poster for an anchor chart. Use the included PNG clip art to insert into worksheets or to use as a student desk helper. So many ways to use this product!!
Tag me on Instagram @teachingkids1st to show me how you use your clock!
I can't wait to see what you come up with!!
