This idea is a fun hands-on way of allowing the students to research someone in history. We did people from science or social studies, but you can adapt this to any subject area. The first page is the directions as to what is expected of the students for the project and the second page is the example of a good display. We then invited the parents to school for the showing of the students' work. We also had other classes in the grade come and look at the displays. The funnest part was that they dress up as the person they researched. All in all, this would be more exciting for the students than simply writing a research paper. Good luck!
