Throughout the class we refer to the learning goal often and I have them assess their own learning (sometimes at the end of class, at home or at the beginning of the next class). After some formative assessment we are able to determine whether or not they have accomplished the goal. From there they may decide that they need more practice, so they check of how they are going to get additional help/review. And finally they add any questions they still have on the concepts.
These learning goal tracker pages are great because they students are precisely aware of what they are required to know. When it comes to a test, they know which learning goals will be assessed, what they need to know and what note or activity corresponds with that goal.
I love these tracker pages so much I decided to share them with you for free! If you appreciate that, leave me some love in the ratings and comments. The more love I receive the more freebies I offer ;)
These tracker pages are completely editable in Microsoft Word. You can adjust the little thumbnail picture, the unit title, course title and the options within the table. If you want to change the check-box options I recommend using the "Find and Replace" option in Word.
