  • An overview of protest music with specific examples from: the Civil Rights Movements, the Vietnam War, Apartheid in South Africa, the Women's Liberation Movement, Urban Protest in the 80s and 90s.
  • An assignment in which students analyze a historical moment of their choice through music.
