These cards can be used during group rotations or when completing roaming activities. Students are explicitly taught the LISC at the beginning of each week and key concepts are revised at the beginning of each lesson. Students work at a station for a designated period of time or until the activity is completed (e.g. they complete four 2-part patterns). Once students complete an activity they move their peg from the side to the top, onto the finished grid. This self-monitoring system can be differentiated as not all students need a peg on each task and students can negotiate with the teacher how many stars they are working towards.
Cards in this pack are for grades PreK, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd. As this resource is editable, you can adapt this resource all the way up to 6th Grade.
