I developed these learning logs as a way to document our experiences for our homeschool portfolio, but they will also appeal to progressive teachers.
I believe that learning should be a way of life, so a lot of learning happens through life experiences. Some people call it "unschooling" although I prefer to call it a "learning lifestyle".
These logs are a way to track progress for portfolio evidence. It includes these logs:
* Book logs (including a chapter book log)
* Reading logs
* Game log
* Nature walk log
* Field trip log
I am also open to suggestions for other basic tracking logs and am willing to update the file to include more ideas. I was inspired to create these logs based on my own use of lists and trackers in my bullet journal. Why not teach our children to keep track of their learning?
If you choose to make a logbook binder, I have included covers in color and black and white. Or maybe you already have a good spot for a log in your binders or folders. Do whatever works best for you!
