A great way for your students to practice money skills. Your students will stretch their critical thinking by identifying the value of missing coins that equal the total amount. This is a hands on learning activity where students will become problem solvers by practicing different ways to count coins. Once the concept has been introduced, this activity could be used as a center or during a guided class lesson. Students should have a small cup of coins at their desk to do this activity. (half dollars, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies). There are sixty money puzzles of varying levels of difficulty and challenge problems. Your students will have fun learning to count money.
