These can be edited to put in learning objectives or 'I can' statements. These strips are then stuck next to the piece of work the student has completed. The student colours the circle either green, yellow or red dependent on how well they think they have understood and completed the task.
The T, TA and I indicate whether the work was completed with a teacher, teaching assistant or independently.
There is space for the teacher to write a comment or target for the child. There is the choice as to whether to indicate using a triangle system how well the child has met the LO, no marking indicate the child has not understood the task, one line, they have begun to understand, two lines, they have almost achieve the LO and a completed triangle shows they have met the LO.
I have found this system works incredibly well as I can see how the child feels about the work and it is also simple enough for specialist and substitute teachers to use.
