Learning Reflection Template: Slideshow {Editable Google Slides}

Description
An important piece of experiential learning is reflection, and this experiential learning reflection template was designed for just that.
This formative assessment strategy encourages growth and improvement, self-awareness, social-emotional skill-building, and more. Learning reflections that follow learning activities, class reflections, end of year reflections, and even high school career reflections are all essential for learning and growth.
This resource is a Google Slides learning reflection template, which offers editable learning reflection questions to guide students through the process. They answer these questions by inserting images, quotes, a written reflection, and more, into pre-made slides. Students can then share reflection slideshows, which can be created in multiple ways. Suggestions are offered in the included teacher guide.
The purpose of this resource is to get students thinking about and reflecting on their learning experiences as a whole. You could choose to have students reflect on the school year, a summer session, a semester, quarter, class, or even a specific learning activity, such as a project-based learning experience.
I use it as a formative assessment type when my students use it after specific learning activities. This reflection is useful following literally any of the experiential resources in my store (all of my resources). I also use it as a comprehensive reflection. My seniors reflect on their high school careers and all of my students reflect at the end of the school year.
There is no one specific way to utilize this reflection template, but I have found it to be most useful and robust when used to reflect on lengthy, deep, and meaningful experiences, such as those already mentioned.
Note: The Google Slides version of this resource is editable. You can go through and make changes to the questions, expectations, and more before sending off a copy to each student. Because this learning reflection template is digital, students can easily complete it and share it from home. A printable PDF and TPT Easel option are also included, but these formats are NOT editable.
For best results, I would recommend using the Google Slides editable slideshow version of this resource. It was originally designed with technological elements in mind, particularly as it relates to sharing slideshows.
