This resource is a perfect for teaching students about their individual learning styles! After having students take a learning styles inventory, allow them to set goals that relate to their specific learning styles.
*Personal Example: I had my students take an online survey that gave them an explanation describing their individual learning styles at the end. Then, I displayed my goal on the board. I had the students set goals that related to our classroom instruction or routines. One student who is a visual learner wrote: "I am a visual learner. I can use my learning style to draw pictures on my vocabulary flash cards." Another student wrote, "I am a kinesthetic/tactile learner. I can use my learning style to pick a flexible seat choice during stations so I can focus on my work."
