It’s a delight for students to track their own learning. Use these student target trackers for students to track their progress of their learning. Provide multiple opportunities for students to show their understanding of the standards and have them verbalize where they are with their current understanding of each topic. This document includes “I Can” statements for all of the Common Core Math Standards. Some “I Can” statements are scaffold in a progressive manner. Only use the ones that are applicable to your teaching at the appropriate time. You will need to guide and model the use of the trackers for student use and understanding .
