This engaging resources comes with step by step teacher directions to make solving for volume more fun than just plugging in known dimensions. Students guess how many M&Ms are in a cone, cylinder, and sphere, and use the volume formulas to calculate the space the M&Ms take up, in order to calculate the number of M&Ms inside the space.
Practice problems are on the back so students can calculate volume and check if their answers are in the "answer bank."
My students found this activity much more engaging than the way I have taught this standard before. Enjoy!
