In this hands-on activity, students will become engaged and excited in light and shadows!

All you need for this lesson are a few pipe cleaners (2 per student), some tin foil (about 3 feet per student), paper, some tape, and some flashlights!

Students will construct there own "Shadow Figures" and will be able to trace the outline of their Shadow figure into a creepy shadow & will then give their own character a name!

Included in this product is a step-by-step Powerpoint tutorial. Also included is an activity sheet for students to fill out as they go. Students can then extend there learning with some basic real-life questions to complete for the post lab.

This activity will not only provide 2-3 hours of entertainment for your students, but it will also have them engaged and excited about learning science in your classroom!
