Do you teach in Ohio? We have to learn about the geography of our great state and this pack of three activities in a great way to start! These work great in interactive notebooks or theme folders!
Activity #1 – Where do I Live?
Create a flap book with three sheets of paper, folded over and stapled. Label each flap in the right order and add the pictures. Students can add answers on the labels for each flap. Notes can be taken next to the pictures.
Activity #2 – Ohio’s Land Regions
There are two options for the notes on the four different regions of Ohio (one has larger sections for note taking), use the option that works best for your students.
Activity #3 – Ohio Map Activity
Create a map of Ohio’s Land Regions. Students can use Crayola Model Magic clay or they can color the different regions in. The map should include a title, compass, and key.
