Product Description

This resource is loaded with Spring fun!

There is an original play or Readers’ Theatre that focuses on the signs of spring. The play leads nicely into the topic of signs of spring. I have provided several ways your students can write about spring: themed writing sheets and copy and fold booklets.

There is a sorting activity called “Sights, Sounds, and Smells of Spring.”

As with all of my teacher products, there is a student reference card of theme words and a sheet of pictures that your students can use to illustrate their sentences or stories.

I like to bring spring early into my classroom. In this resource, you will find a section on “forcing bulbs” that includes writing, labeling, and graphing activities.

In this resource, there are 15 math journal prompts. You will find both closed and open types of word problems in this resource. I also have provided pictures for your students to use as manipulatives.

In this resource there are 2 math games: “Puddle Jumping” (adding 10) and “Spring Add and Cover” (rolling dice and adding).

In my resources that feature Chip and Crash, I like to focus on a particular spelling pattern. This resource features the ing family words.

Other activities in this resource include:

A fun reading/spelling game that my students love;

Word Wall cards;

Write the Room activity using signs of spring words;

Write the Room math activity featuring time;

Reading trees;

2 making words activities; and

A wordsearch.

I value your feedback greatly as it helps me determine which products are most valuable for your classroom.
