PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

"iPads were invented just to have fun." I hear this from my students and I know the tablet can be so much more. The iPad has unique possibilities for learning, starting with understanding how the technology can help you learn. With the apps available students have everything they need to produce a finished product that includes maps, research, writing, voice, and assessment. This middle school unit guides students on how to use an iPad to research an unfamiliar country, including exploring geography, geology, hydrology, natural processes and disasters, and current events that affect that nation. In addition students create assessments to track if readers of their web page are gaining the information the writer intended.
