This bundle has several components. The following are included:
~ LCM Bingo (with directions)
~ I Have/Who Has Task Cards - Set of 24
~ Descriptions of Three Methods for Finding LCM
~~~~ The methods include examples and a worksheet for each.
Once students are ready, the teacher will call a phrase on the call cards. The answers are written in parentheses, and should not be called aloud.
An example of such a phrase would be, “The Least Common Multiple of 3 and 11.” Then, if the student has the number 33 on their cards, they would cover it with their marker, and wait for the next LCM to be called.
In order to ensure student accountability, they write their work in their math journals (or your classroom’s equivalent).
The first student to attain four squares accurately covered, either diagonally, horizontally, or vertically, wins the round!
The Three Methods for Finding LCM Are:
~ Listing out the Multiples
~ Using Factor Trees
~ Using the Division Method
I hope you enjoy these resources, and find them helpful in your classroom!
