Find the Least Common Multiple by finding multiples of each number. The two main issues that I have when I teach Least Common Multiple is students with confuse the concept with greatest common factor or students have a hard time multiplying. In order to address both of those issues the students start off with a graphic organizer that addresses both issues.
The lesson continues with a self correcting activity. Students are asked to complete a puzzle using Least Common Factor. Lastly students can complete a carousel activity where they travel around the classroom solving greatest common factor word problems.
