Description

This lesson will increase student engagement and retention with research based guided notes that follow-along with a bright PowerPoint lesson. I use this resource in my own 6th grade classroom. Students will have multiple opportunities to interact with the content through "I do, We do, & You do" exercises. You will engage your students visually with the presentation, auditorily through listening to you, and by doing. This three prong approach is highly effective and reaches a variety of learners. At the end of the lesson, students will demonstrate their understanding with differentiated practice questions.
