Younger students have a hard time keeping their desks in a straight row so I designed these 'leg eggs' to help them keep them perfectly in place. These are easy to put on the floor, I use a clear packing tape cut just a little larger than the 'leg egg' itself. Line them up in a row where you want the legs of the desk to sit. I put down a row placing the desk at a distance apart that allows for easy movement between the desks. I put down two eggs for each desk because the student only needs to be able to put their desk legs on the eggs once they are sitting in their chair. The easiest way to put these down is to line your desks up how you want them to sit. Once you have these where you want them, put the leg eggs down where the back legs will sit. This will allow the student to line their desk up when they sit down they can look down and pull their desks onto the 'leg eggs' and all the desks will be perfect! I use reward stickers to encourage this and it rewards everyone with a neat and orderly room!
