Lego STEM challenges are always a class favorite for my students! I saw a Lego balloon car once on Pinterested and decided to try it out as a class STEM challenge. It quickly became a favorite, so I designed some recording and planning sheets to go along with the challenge the second time around.
This challenge focuses on the ideas of force and motion. You can teach to this topic for a full 5 days according to my scope and sequence provided, or simply introduce the challenge and get after it!
This is an easy challenge for students as young as kindergarten to do independently (as long as they can blow up a balloon) or do as a whole class if you have enough Lego pieces.
This product includes:
-Optional teacher scope and sequence
-Student recording sheets for force and motion (2 options--1 draw, 1 write)
-Student brainstorm sheets (2 options--1 draw, 1 write)
-Recording sheets for 3 different versions of this STEM challenge
-Amazon Affiliate links to pieces/supplies for this challenge
