Lemonade For Sale - A Money Problem Solving PowerPoint Game reviews the concept of problem solving using money. In the game, the students follow Aidan and Molly. They are two kids that are selling lemonade to raise money for their local animal shelter. The game has twenty money word problems. Then, the students help Aidan and Molly tally up how much money they earned to donate to the homeless pets at their local animal shelter.
This activity can be used as an independent center, team game, or whole group with the students solving the problems on their own and then checking them together as a class. Students can answer the questions on dry erase boards, paper, math journals, etc. The answers follow all of the questions so the students get instant feedback.
