I've created a super fun activity to help aid in financial literacy. I was racking my brain about how we could make financial literacy more fun and I landed with something that the kids would be able to relate to. In this pack, students will learn about withdraw, deposit, and change the balance of their "bank" at their lemonade stand. They will learn how to set goals for their stand and see if they meet those goals. There are 2 graphs where they can graph their income and expenses. They will have a "lemon" card each day that tells them the sales for the day, and they will have a "lime" card that tells about the expenses for the day.
Be sure to download the FREE LEMONADE STAND RECORDING SHEET in my store for students to fill out with these cards.
2nd Grade: I would suggest setting all of your class' lemonade cost to $1 since the higher multiplication can be difficult for them.
3rd & 4th Grade: You can let your students determine their cost and do the multiplication throughout the week.
