This packet by Suzanne Buras includes three physical science labs that can each be completed in one class period. They require very little "set-up" but are always enjoyed by my students. They were designed for my 5th grade class, but they could easily be done by students a little younger or a little older.
Included in the packet:
1. A foldable on Mass, Volume, Weight, and Density
2. Measuring Length Lab
3. Measuring Volume Lab
4. Mass and Density Lab
Set up is easy and either free or inexpensive. The Mass and Density Lab requires a little more planning for the teacher regarding materials needed to perform the task.
I hope you and your students enjoy the labs!
