Leonardo da Vinci Reading and Interactive Notebook Activity

This engaging and interactive resource provides a 1 page reading on the Renaissance Man Leonardo da Vinci along with a reading worksheet, and two versions of an Interactive Notebook resource!

The reading covers all of Leonardo da Vinci's life from his upbringing through his "retirement" in France. It highlights da Vinci's key works and places he worked across Italy.

The worksheet features a set of Common Core-aligned reading comprehension questions and open-ended opinion questions about da Vinci. An answer key for this is included for your convenience.

Finally, interactive notebook resource pages are included in which students cut out, fold, and create notebooks like da Vinci's in which they highlight his life with visuals and details they learned from the reading. Two versions of this are included - first a smaller one on one page with an introduction and directions. The second has directions for creating a larger notebook using two blank sheets of paper. Pictures are included of the steps to complete this along with pictures of completed samples.

This is really a fantastic resource for an interactive lesson on this amazing Renaissance Man! Related resources can also be found in this Complete Renaissance and Reformation Unit Bundle!
