A Leprechaun Adventure is a fun book students can make to practice spatial concepts, answering questions, 3-word phrases, vocabulary and
All you need to do is print out pages 4-11 and set out your stickers.
You can provide seasonal themed stickers or use any stickers you have. For some of my students I choose to use seasonal themed stickers. For other students working on absurdities, I let them choose any stickers they want. We then discuss why an octopus would not be behind a shamrock or a lion would not be in a house.
As we go through the book and place the stickers as listed at the top of the page (on, over, under, in and beside) the student can also read the repetitive phrase at the bottom. Picture cues are included for nonreaders.
I usually make the book with students in one session and then practice the target skills (spatial concepts, 3-word phrases etc.) in the next session. I then send the book home to read and complete activities.
Included is a sample of a homework sheet sent home with the book. This allows the students to work on their skills at home.
