Leprechaun Prepositions is a fun way to teach prepositions to ESL, intervention or primary grade students. In a directed writing and drawing activity have students draw a shamrock above the Leprechaun. Then, write the sentence "The shamrock is above the Leprechaun". You can hard code the Leprechaun and the shamrock on the lines for 1st graders, or ones that have difficulty writing.
To save paper make 2 sided copies and fold the pages in half. The children have a 4 page booklet. They enjoy adding a green cover and titling it.
