This is the individual “Leprechaun Maker Station” activity from my Centers for the Month of March
Pack. The student’s challenge is to create a leprechaun trap to catch a leprechaun using random items found in the classroom or donated from families (empty toilet paper/paper towel rolls, empty cereal/tissue boxes, string and ribbon… whatever you have laying around…!) A recording sheet to plan is included, as well as a letter to send home asking for random household item donations!
This activity can easily be adapted to work with a variety of grade levels, and there are so many ways this activity can be used: With your whole class, students can work collaboratively with partners, in small groups with a parent volunteer, or it could even be placed at an independent center or be used as an early finisher activity! Either way, your students (or kids!) are sure to have a blast with this hands-on activity that gives them a chance to plan, create, and test. ;)
Included in this pack is:
*A table sign for the activity
*Recording/planning sheets in color and black & white (you choose!)
*Request for supplies to send home with students
*Teacher directions, a list of materials, and setup instructions for the game
