This resource is in French, and includes a 7-page, illustrated black-line master about the different animal classifications. All of the vertebrate groups (reptiles, mammals, fish, birds, amphibians) are featured on their own pages, and have boxes for eight characteristics each. There are two pages that feature the most common groups of invertebrates (mollusks, insects, arachnids, echinoderms, annelids), and only have boxes for two or three characteristics each. In addition to the blank boxes, there are 3 pages of boxes full of the characteristics needed to fill in the empty boxes.
Also included is an answer key, and colour-coded version of the boxes.
The black-line master activity involves cutting and pasting, but the empty versions could be coloured and laminated, and the colour-coded cards could be laminated to create activity for centres, or a whole-group discussion.
