This product contains 48 different vocabulary words for common characters and objects in fairy tales and fantasy stories. I sourced clip art from 16 amazing artists to illustrate these cards. This pack does not include specific personal names of fairty tale characters. I also included 18 additional cards for some of the pictures with alternate words/synomyms.
The dictionary pictures are great prompts to get your students talking in French. Ask them to describe what's going on, use prepositions for where items/characters are, ask questions…There are many possibilities.
Please note: This is not a unit. There are not lesson ideas or worksheets included.
So what IS included?

Almost all of the main pictures are shown in the preview. “Une chaumière" is sometimes a thatched cottage so I used a straw house for that picture. It’s a little different than the card for “une maison" in the preview. I think that’s it!

PLEASE NOTE: This is a .zip file. Make sure you have the right application to download this type of file. I created these products on a Mac and the files are in pdf. They should be compatible with all computers, but sometimes there is an extra step involved to open the .zip files. Also, be aware that this is a very large file due to all the images. It took my 3-year-old MacBook Pro 3 minutes to download everything, but it works great! These links can tell you more:
