This entirely French resource is a cut-and-paste activity that works well individually or in small groups. This is a five page document including an instruction page for the teacher, a page of dominoes to be photocopied and cut out for each group (both a version in colour and in black and white), as well as a blank grid upon which the dominos are to be glued (also a version in colour and in black and white).
The objective is for the students to take the scrambled dominoes and to place and glue them on the blank grid in such a way that the neighbouring boxes contain a pair consisting of a country (in capital letters) and its capital city (in lower case). The original document serves at the answer key.
This is a great socials activity to practise atlas skills and to test out one's world knowledge!
